José:   Great! Come to my hotel. I want to show you some photos. Tell Joelle and Rosa. I’m in room fifteen.

Rosa:   It’s newer than my house. My house is really old!

Joelle:   Rosa! Your house isn’t old and it’s got a great garden with grass and flowers.

Rosa:   I know. But it’s in the town and I’d love to live in a forest, you know, with lots of trees and animals around.

Joelle:   Rosa, you’re funny! Tell us more about your house, José.

José:   I love it there. It isn’t in the city or in a forest – or in the countryside.

Paolo:   Is that a river in the photo?

José:   No, it’s the sea. My house is near the beach.

Rosa:   Ooh, the sea looks wonderful! It’s bluer than the sea here!

Paolo:   … and warmer than the sea in England too!

José:   Maybe one day you can all come and visit me there.

Joelle, Rosa, Paolo:   Cool!

José:   Guys, you really helped me today. I’ve got you some free tickets for my concert. I hope you can all come.

Joelle:   Yes, please. When is it?

José:   Tonight.

Paolo:   Tonight! But what can I wear? Everything’s dirty!

José:   Oh and bring your cameras! You can show your photos at the photo club.

Ava:   Ah, it looks wonderful in the photo. There are lots of forests in Canada, aren’t there?

Jack:   That’s right! We’re staying in a hotel in the middle of a forest next to a river. Mum and Dad love it. Dad goes walking by the river every morning after breakfast. I don’t think he wants to come home.

Ava:   When are you coming back to the UK?

Jack:   On Saturday. Would you like to meet up on Sunday?

Ava:   I can’t meet on Sunday, Jack. It’s my grandmother’s birthday!
